The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager, E-Motor, will be responsible for launching and managing technical projects at Lucid. You will work closely with Corporate PMO, Vehicle Integration, Design Engineering, Logistics, New Product Introduction, Operations Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure programs are aligned to the needs of Lucid.
You will:
- Create and maintain manufacturing engineering DFM and equipment development schedules
- Align Manufacturing project timings for plant build outs to vehicle program timelines
- Develop and maintain risk assessments to mitigate timeline and cost impacts
- Coordinate design for manufacturing efforts with Manufacturing Engineering and Product Engineering teams
- Plan and execute engineering efforts to solidify manufacturing process and equipment design
- Ensure the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering E-Motor team is prioritizing tasks and completing them to meet program milestones
- Understand product design change impacts on manufacturing equipment
- Gain holistic knowledge of the product, production processes, and manufacturing technologies to understand and mitigate risks, as well as to recognize optimization opportunities
- Coordinate and effectively run meetings to resolve issues related to manufacturing equipment design and installation
- Direct project team priorities and manage critical issue escalations
- Manage initial site planning and project execution planning to be handed off to manufacturing project execution teams
- Implement and track changes presented from the New Product Introduction team
- Lead external communications with cross functional program management teams
- Control/ develop program budgets and timing
You bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required
- Minimum of 5+ years in Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Experience in the automotive industry is a must
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments.
- Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company
- Working knowledge of MS project and AutoCAD is a must
- Working Knowledge of Catia and Delmia is a plus
