Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Flight Training Courseware Specialist to join the BGS Engineering team. In this role, the focus will be on crafting and developing new competency-based training and assessment tailored flight training programs for all commercial models.

This is a fully Virtual position. The selected candidate may be required to travel domestically.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines customer training requirements and develops curriculum to satisfy requirements.
  • Researches and evaluates potential training technologies for application to customer requirements.
  • Develops and documents training standards and specifications to enable trainings design, development and delivery.
  • Analyzes training efficiency to assure requirements are met.
  • Works under minimal direction

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 737 Type Rating
  • Commercial pilot license or military equivalent.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally to company worksites.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience developing pilot training curriculum for part 121 operations or foreign equivalent.
  • 5+ years’ experience as an instructor pilot or examiner.
  • Pilot experience with turbo-prop or jet background.
  • Commercial airline experience.
  • Experience developing flight training courseware.
  • Experience with Competency Based Training and Assessment methodologies.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
