Responsibilities

As a (senior) management consultant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing tailored transformation approaches to meet business requirements within the financial services sector. You will be responsible for setting up and steering projects/programs towards success, addressing the unique challenges faced by major financial institutions. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strong financial knowledge, and the ability to drive projects from conception to completion.

You should be able to:

• Lead and manage end-to-end projects, from initial scoping and planning to implementation.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring project goals, progress, and impacts are effectively conveyed and understood.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing financial processes, systems, and operations to identify areas of improvement.
• Mentor, challenge and inspire colleagues to foster professional growth and ensuring the highest standards of project execution.

Furthermore, Synechron offers you the opportunity and freedom to develop your entrepreneurial skills by establishing a specific knowledge area and/or market development stream within the financial services industry and transforming it into a potential commercial proposition. Requirements

We are looking for the following qualifications for several positions with different levels of seniority:

Either;

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a consultant or manager within a consulting firm or as an internal consultant in the financial services industry, preferably working with major banks

Or;

• Minimum 5-15+ years of experience as a senior consultant or (senior) manager within a consulting firm, or as an internal consultant in the financial services industry, preferably working with major banks. Please note that experience in the Financial Sector is a must-have requirement.
• Master's degree or equivalent
• Passion for the financial market and expertise in financial services
• Experienced in, or motivated to learn, setting up and leading projects within the financial services sector
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch
• Proficient in project management and change methodologies such as Prince II, MSP, (scaling) Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Lean Six Sigma
