As the Industrial Engineer, your focus will be

• Responsible for determining our Standard Minute Value (SMV) and use General Sewing Data (GSD) to ensure that right labor cost and a good level of production efficiency through manufacture excellence
• Secure our business growth in an efficient way by validating the right capacity with our local and regional suppliers.
• You have ownership to asses the supplier efficiency and review on production process to help supplier to have better smv and efficiency connected to manufacture excellence.
• You interact regularly with the business teams, our external suppliers as well as your colleagues based both locally and across the Globe for business development.

Requirements

• 3-5 years IE related experience in textile industry
• Strong technical knowledge of SMV/GSD (GSD/GST certification holder is preferred)
• Has good capability of making garment operation breakdown
• Has quick speed in calculation smv on product
• Has a good level of accuracy of calculation result
• Good understanding on factory production and garment making process for woven/knit/ UW
• Understand garment cost structure and calculation
• Excel skill and can work for building or modify tool
• Good at analytical thinking & negotiation
• Strong communication skills to build trust and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders

Has knowledge on calculation cost for labor part: to determine the SMV based on GSD knowledge on product level) What's more important here is, you're someone who will be thorough in industrial engineering subject matter to establish strong collaboration with our supplier base for their capability development in productivity. You should be comfortable to work with our suppliers as the ambassador of H&M to conduct time studies and establish a database for costing and work content analysis. You need to have good communication skills with the entrepreneurial spirit to drive our suppliers in the same direction for achieving business goals.
