What you'll do...

Job Summary:

We are seeking a team leader with Data Science/analytics technical experience to build the team to enable guiding our business strategy, decisions, and implementation through analytics and data driven insights. You will lead the team to understand the business context of projects, goals, challenges, stakeholders, and expectations.

What you'll do:

Build Inclusive team and Culture

In this role, you will own setting the BI, Data and Analytics vision, strategy, roadmap, multi-year plans, execution and delivery. This will involve setting a technical vision for your teams, scaling BI Data Architecture.

Provide guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities. Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy to support the organization's business objectives.

Coordinate and act as a liaison between US and India teams. Drive Project Management/Sprint planning activities.

Work effectively across business groups such as replenishment, Transportation, Fulfillment, and Product to achieve our joint business goals.

Execute intermediate to advanced business analysis using multi-layered SQL queries- Building intermediate to complex business models- Distilling large datasets and translating data into actionable insights for a digital media or eCommerce company.

Using data science packages including Python- Using data visualization software including Tableau- Working with Big Data in a cloud computing environment- Working in an Agile environment.

Be a strategic, analytical, and consultative partner to Sam’s Club Supply Chain strategy.

Perform hands-on complex analyses using SQL, Python/R

Present to and influences the team and business audience using appropriate data visualization frameworks and conveys clear messages.

What you'll bring:

7 to 9 years of relevant experience in technical management of Data, Analytics and Business Intelligence

3 to 4 years of experience in project management and leading a technical team and working with large DW environment.

Hands-on knowledge of business intelligence tools

You are self-driven and motivated with entrepreneurial passion and desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven agile environment with varied responsibilities.
You are innovative, talented and committed individual with excellent communication, sprit of teamwork and Analytical abilities to drive excellence!

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area OR 4 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications...

2 years’ experience in business analysis and reporting., 2 years’ experience using statistical modeling software., 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
