What You'll Do
As a Sales Engineer reporting into the ANZ Sales Engineering Manager you will be a customer facing engineer with a desire to grow your skills in modern presales engineering. An individual contributor working in a highly collaborative team, the successful candidate will be comfortable with owning technical and business requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, and have excellent communication and customer facing skills. This is a great opportunity for someone who is building their pre-sales career or an experienced IT professional with strong communication skills looking to move out of the back office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership of the technical sales of Mimecast products during customer and partner pre-sales activities.
- Assists sales and partners in assessing and scoping the application of Mimecast’s products to meet customer requirements.
- Uses technical knowledge to create and deliver impactful technical sales workshops
- Effectively conduct product demonstrations that highlight the unique value of Mimecast solutions for the customer.
- Educates customers on Mimecast’s technology and competitive differentiators.
- Manage Proof of Concepts to align to customer’s success criteria.
- Assist Sales Engineering team with responding to RFP/RFIs and tenders.
- Validate and help iterate the Mimecast offering through in-market conversations.
- Act as a trusted advisor delivering local marketing and communications initiatives such as webinars.
