About the Role
Our client, a production team working with a world-touring comedian is seeking a skilled videographer for a short-term project in Los Angeles. The project involves filming four comedy sketches for the comedian's YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have experience in capturing comedy content and be available for on-location shooting on specific dates in July.
Responsibilities:
- Film four comedy sketches over two days (July 15th and 16th) in Los Angeles
- Set up and operate video equipment for optimal capture of comedy performances
- Collaborate with the production team and comedian to understand and execute the vision for each sketch
- Ensure proper lighting and sound capture during filming
- Frame shots creatively to enhance comedic timing and impact
Requirements
- Proven experience as a videographer, particularly in comedy or sketch comedy
- Strong understanding of comedic timing and how to capture it visually
- Proficiency with professional-grade video cameras and related equipment
- Experience in shooting content for YouTube or other online platforms
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
