You will be part of a dynamic team in the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S) business – the market leader in the interventional and minimally invasive surgery space. The IGT-S organization is responsible for global marketing, development and manufacturing of image guidance solutions. IGT-S is the global market leader and at the heart of Philips Healthcare. You will be part of the clinically focused marketing team that is responsible for upstream Marketing and New Product Development and creating a full proposition around our Interventional Radiology and Lung solutions, while keeping an eye on the generic hybrid and mobile surgery proposition. IGT-S is the global market leader and at the heart of Philips Healthcare. This position is based in at our Innovation Campus in Best and you will report to the Sr. Director Clinical Suites Product Marketing in Image Guide Therapy Systems.

Your role:

As director product marketing Interventional Radiology & Lung, you will drive the organization by defining and launching new winning propositions, while monitoring and optimizing the performance of the current portfolio of Image Guided Therapy Systems in the Interventional Radiology market and the interventional Lung market. This role portfolio involves creating the product & clinical strategy in alignment with our Interventional Oncology, Interventional Neuro Radiology, and Vascular segment teams. Furthermore, this role requires creating the product & clinical strategy together with the Lung clinical scientist and business developer in the North American Region. Together with the downstream marketing team and te local markets you will build & maintaining a clinical network and initiate downstream marketing activities.

You are responsible for

  • Defining a winning strategy and integral propositions in Interventional Radiology based on market insights and customer insights (including supporting claims, pricing strategy, offer design, target customers and target markets) in close collaboration with segment product managers in Interventional Oncology, Interventional Neuro Radiology, and Vascular, and the Lung business developer and lung clinical scientist.
  • Creating and driving a compelling value articulation of our portfolio to the head of (interventional) Radiology
  • Monitoring and optimizing the overall performance of the Radiology and Lung interventional tools product platform, leveraging data and insights from various sources for continuous improvement (e.g. initial sales, adoption, utilization and lifecycle and retention).
  • Monitoring and optimizing the overall performance of Radiology and Lung for 3rd party items and assigned cross-business and cross-segment solution, leveraging data and insights from various sources for continuous improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire Radiology and Lung product platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
  • Collecting and monitoring customer feedback data to identify potential product quality issues and uses the data to prioritize scope for upcoming maintenance programs
  • Fostering collaboration across segment product managers and with IGTS NPI and MLD teams to ensure seamless alignment of products within the platform, enhancing overall performance and platform consistency.
  • Strategically managing the product platform catalog, aligning offerings with market demands and ensuring a product catalog health.
  • Leading proactive maintenance initiatives, collaborating with relevant teams to embed maintenance considerations early in the product life cycle.
  • Driving platform profitability by proactively monitoring product cost, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure product cost does not exceed cost targets.
  • Collaborating with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, complementing their efforts to ensure a holistic and end-to-end view of product platform management.
  • Communicating platform updates to internal business and market stakeholders tactically as needed as well as through a regular cadence of monthly / Quarterly platform newsletter

You're the right fit if:

  • Master’s degree preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields with excellent track record
  • At least 10 years of experience in an international business environment in marketing or product management (including experience of launching a new product launch)
  • Experience in the Interventional Radiology space is a must, knowledge of the field of lung oncology interventions is beneficial.
  • Expertise in market segmentation, product and service strategy, competitive strategy, and product/solution development
  • Strong conceptual skills; ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and experience with Value Proposition development.
  • Ability to guide and drive the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product; broad interests that allow you to interact with various disciplines; inspire and motivate others
  • Experience with various aspects of Healthcare marketing -both strategic and tactical- to ensure successful launch of our propositions in the market. Radiology and or Lung experience is an advantage
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple and diverse markets
  • Highly entrepreneurial and eager with a natural affinity for healthcare business, and a market and customer driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders in the organization as well as with business partners and customers. Excellent spoken and written English skills.
