Costing Engineer

• Provide top down cost analysis system-wise for entire product at every milestone

• Work on engineering add-delete lists to find out cost impacts of different changes vs existing product.

• Ensure BOM alignment with cost checking throughout Design Release

• Release of individual parts cost targets to purchase

• Coordinate among different functions for seeking updated cost info, and work for any misalignments

• Identifying reasons for gaps in actual costs vs projected for entire product

• Drive corrective actions through various functions.

• Product cost analysis on monthly basis (Identify the reasons of increase/Decrease)

• Develop and maintain cost roll up forecast for different milestones during development of product

• ZBC for Sheet Metal/Fabricated parts required essential.
