The Finance Manager - Marketing & Loyalty is acrucial partner to the Endeavour Group and Dan Murphy’s Marketing and Loyalty leadership team. This role is the adjacent incubator businesses to drive the business strategy, ensure constant alignment between stakeholders while proactively providing commercial support and guidance on key strategic initiatives & opportunities.

Working closely with the Marketing & Loyalty team, you'll have experience on providing insights on financial analysis, models, forecasts, and return on investment (ROI) whilst making informed and strategic decisions together.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

• Deliver insightful analysis and commercial recommendations
• Drive regular business performance reviews identify and resolve poor performance issues
• Ensure business initiatives are implemented successfully and communicated broadly
• Work closely with key stakeholders to identify key issues / solutions on the operations of the business
• Responsible for preparation and submission of the annual budget and forecast process
• Ownership over weekly commercial performance reports and forecasts
• Working with key stakeholders to ascertain cost control measures and optimise future trading opportunities
• Identify key drivers of profit and opportunities for business improvement
• Develop and implement process improvements to ensure a standard, lean and efficient operating model
• Partner and challenge marketing on current spend and ensure they are pivoting to achieve greatest returns for the business
• Lead, coach and manage change
• Clear and effective communication across multiple groups of stakeholders
• Work with department leadership teams to ensure there is a consistent “way of working”

Requirements

Now let’s talk about you

• 10+ years experience of multiple commercial finance roles
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, CA / CPA / CIMA qualified
• Extensive experience, preferably in an Retail / FMCG environment; however, other relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience supporting Marketing team preferred
• Previous experience in cross-matrix organisation
• Strong presentation and storyboarding skills
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to communicate complex financial information simplistically
• Advanced experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, GCP
