Principal Full-Stack Engineer

Job Overview:

The Principal Full-Stack Engineer with a strong focus on frontend will play a pivotal role in leading the development of our web applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, with a primary emphasis on frontend development. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a technical expert, and a collaborative leader who can drive our engineering team to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead FE Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications with a focus on user experience and responsive design.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Full-Stack Expertise: Collaborate with BE developers to ensure seamless integration between FE and BE systems.
• Architecture & Design: Contribute to architectural decisions and lead the development of new features and functionalities.
• Code Quality: Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security through code reviews and testing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Innovation: Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in web development, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

Must Have:

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in Full Stack development with a focus on FE technologies.
• Technical Skills:
• • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern FE frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Experience with NodeJS or Java backend development.
  • Strong understanding of GraphQL, RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with database technologies: SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Experience in building modern cloud services using microservices.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Have impeccable verbal and written communication skills (in English) for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.

Ideal:

• Experience in a fast-moving FinTech startup is a plus

Our pay ranges are based on the role's level and responsibilities, and benchmarked against similar stage growth companies in the fintech industry. We utilize multiple factors including skills and work experience to determine the final offer amount given to each candidate. The base pay range for this position is: $170,000-$200,000
