Product Manager I

Role Overview

AvidXchange, a leader in automating invoice and payment processes, is seeking a Product Manager I to lead our Identity and Access Management team. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the authentication and authorization access for our customers across our products, as well as managing internal product interactions, federation of single sign-on (SSO) solutions, and role-based access controls.

What you'll do

• Lead the Identity Management and Access Control team, focusing on the delivery and continuous improvement of secure, scalable identity solutions
• Develop and execute product strategy for authentication, SSO, and access controls across AvidXchange’s suite of products and services
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and roadmap
• Ensure alignment of product solutions with industry standards and best practices in identity and access management
• Drive cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget
• Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously iterate and improve the product offerings
• Engage with customers and internal users to gather insights and identify additional product needs
• Manage prioritization and resolution of product-related issues

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Product Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in product management, specifically in identity management, access control, or related fields
• Strong understanding of identity protocols and technologies, including OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and LDAP
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Prior experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
• Bonus points: Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their identity and access management tools
