Senior Manager, IT Solutions Architect II – Energy Sector

Position Overview: As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions for our Energy Trading, Risk Management, Energy Management, and Brokerage applications. You will work closely with the Tribe Lead, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect comprehensive solutions within the Energy Trading, Risk Management, Energy Management, and Brokerage domains.
• Develop and maintain a high-level architectural roadmap for applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using Java, .NET C#, MS SQL, and AWS.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business goals and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular code reviews, design sessions, and architecture discussions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve our systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with 5+ years of experience
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL, AWS and Java or .NET C#,
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of energy trading, risk management, and energy management concepts.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
• Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or similar credentials.
