Raytheon has an opening for a Materials Management Senior Analyst. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilize data-driven decision making to ensure on time delivery of material through proper front-end planning. Responsible for cross functional collaboration to review and interpret customer requirements, create, and maintain end item schedules, bills of material and material demand requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet customer requirements. This role is responsible for interface with mainly internal customers.Response time to customer requirements is the most important aspect of this role. Timely communication is essential to the success of the potential candidate.

What You Will Do

• Create and maintain bills of material (BOMs) in SAP for each individual customer requirement.
• Create demands in SAP that align with customer requirements and material lead times.
• Provide MRP scheduling subject matter expertise to program management.
• Create Requisitions for material in the BOMs ensuring proper receipt dates per customer requirements and material lead time.
• Create and release kits in SAP and coordinate physical picking of material with logistics personnel.
• Provide real time updates for all of the above responsibilities in the web-based customer portal.
• This position is remote. On rare occasions, employee may need to come to a Raytheon site.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.
• Experience using SAP or another MRP/ERP system.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in application of production control, MRP principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
• Experience with inventory management, finite scheduling, just-in-time (JIT) concepts, and production scheduling.
• Experience in manufacturing environment – production, re-manufacturing, or refurbishment; ‘transition to production’ and/or production proposals.
• Experience with the creation, execution, and tracking of organizational projects and goals.
• Experience with MS Office (MS Excel).

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
