We are seeking a Compliance & Data Protection Officer to join our team. As a Compliance & Data Protection Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to laws, regulations, and ethical standards, thereby protecting and enhancing Unilabs' reputation.

Responsabilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify any deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor internal and external compliance guidelines and regulations, and update policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Provide training and education to employees on compliance issues, regulations, and ethical practices.
  • Investigate and resolve any compliance-related issues, including potential violations, complaints, or breaches.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to stay updated on industry trends and changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (preferred) or a related field, such as healthcare administration or Business.
  • Proven experience working in a Compliance role (healthcare industry is a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO.
  • Strong understanding of compliance risk management and ability to implement effective strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve compliance issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using compliance software and systems.
  • Fluency in English and Frech is mandatory.
