Career-oriented Software Test Analyst Senior who has Payments or Card’s testing experience. Can work independently or with minimal supervision and passionate about quality and performance.

What you will be doing :

• Create and maintain processes of the quality program and provide consulting for software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.
• Work closely with the QA Lead and QA Manager and provide support in project delivery
• Deliver the tasks on time with highest quality
• Bring in innovation and out of the box thinking
• Effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
• Proficient in generating detailed and concise status reports
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of project deliverables
• Prepare detailed Test plan based on the functional specifications
• Develop, maintain, and keep up to date the manual and automated test scripts, data sets and other test artefacts required to execute the test plan
• Conduct and facilitate test plan/case reviews with Internal and External stakeholders
• Ensure the relevant types of testing are executed and planned according to the project lifecycle
• Attend weekly meetings with the client, capture and address the pain points and track them to closure
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written forms
• Track and monitor defects in JIRA, schedule defects triage with the development team as required
• Manages own daily test activities
• Work closely with developers to uphold software quality standards
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Capable of highlighting key achievements, challenges and future milestones
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather relevant project information
• Skilled in providing regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency
• Comply with all FIS policies and procedures
• Other related duties assigned as needed
• Utilise testing tools to evaluate system functionality

What you Bring:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Software testing role
• Experience in the following Applications: IST/Merchant Account & Settlement,(MAS), IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex &/or IST Epay, Event Broker, Code Connect
• Testing experience in Cards Schemes – Mastercard, Visa, Amex/JCB, Diners/Discover and EFTPOS
• Good understanding of standard SDLC and all types of testing (e.g., FT, SIT, UAT, etc)
• Knowledge with engineering tools such as Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA or similar
• Has excellent customer service skills building high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Has solid analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship among the project team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Self-starter with proven ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of network message standards - AS2805 or ISO8583 standards
• Test Management tools knowledge - Test Rail, JIRA, Zephyr or any similar tools
• Test Simulator tools knowledge – FINsim (Paysim), Postman, SOAP UI, OTS, MAS and VTS
• Experience in testing payments systems
• Experience in Scheme certifications for payments
