The Instructional Designer will be part of the Product Education team in the customer success group and will develop training and education materials that are used by our customers and internal teams.

In this role, you will apply our products and services to valuable, easy-to-consume content for our customers’ empowerment and education. Additionally, you will integrate the content within Activate’s Education assets – Learning Management System, Customer Communication and Knowledge Center directly impacting and elevating Activate’s customer experience.

Objectives of this Role

  • Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write user guides, training materials, videos and e-learnings
  • Write user-friendly designed content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
  • Writing users release communication
  • Create and maintain Insight/reporting use cases, flows, and analytical ideas for different educational tools
  • Conduct instructor- led sessions for internal customer- facing teams (train the trainer)
  • Work closely with Customer Success and product teams

Requirements

What are the skills a good Instructional designer needs to have?

  • Native English speaker – A MUST
  • 1-2 years’ industry experience as an instructional designer / Customer Success / trainer/ business analyst in retail / FMCG
  • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
  • Experience with Product, Product Marketing, Customer Success or Marketing, preferably in a SaaS and Retail Tech environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Good creative and design skills
