The Global Quality department has a vacancy in its Barcelona team for the following position:

The Position

The Contract Manufacturing Organisation Planner (CMO planner) serves as primary point of contact for CMOs for demand and supply related day to day activities for the finished dosage forms (FDF). The CMO planner is responsible for the long-term FDF and related API planning, by being a key stakeholder in the S&OP cycle, managing supply planning in alignment with customer forecast or allocation plans and by monitoring API consumption at CMOs. The CMO Planner deals with issues related to production of FDF and takes mitigating actions, in alignment with the CMO Manager and is responsible for reporting internal and external KPIs.

The main activities and responsibilities:

  • Long term supply planning for CMOs.
  • Long term financial planning.
  • Supporting monthly forecast updates compared to financial targets.
  • Supporting budget / RAF processes.
  • Key stakeholder of monthly internal and external S&OP meetings.
  • Preparation of supply plans in alignment with capacity / allocation / unconstrained forecast agreements.
  • Supply plan alignment with the CMOs.
  • Prepare scenarios and other relevant information to support decision making in the internal and the CMO S&OP process.
  • Ensure API requirement planning based on agreed supply plans.
  • Supporting PO placement is in line with agreed supply plan.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • University / Master's degree in Commercial, Supply Chain and/or Business.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Planning in the Pharmaceutical / Chemical industry.
  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of SAP PP module experience.
  • Good skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and Advanced Planning Tools (IBP).
  • Results-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Well-structured and organized.
  • Strong communications skills. Communicates effectively with a diverse audience.
