About the Role:

Borrowell is looking for a Sr. Partnerships Manager to play a key role in supporting Borrowell’s growth in 2024 and beyond. Reporting to the CRO this role will be responsible for relationship management and collaborating directly with current and new partners. You will have the opportunity drive meaningful growth both for your partners and for Borrowell.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day partnership relations and communication
  • Create account plans, design and present proposals and negotiate partner agreements
  • Research and develop new partnership opportunities
  • Lead partner strategy meetings including monthly and quarterly account updates
  • Champion partner requests and opportunities internally, work cross-functionally to deliver on partner projects and campaigns
  • Represent the Borrowell brand and create partner relationships at all levels
  • Monitor and manage partner performance

Requirements

Experience:

  • 3+ years experience with roles that may include account/partnership management and business development
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and independent time management
  • Tracking and reporting partnership KPIs
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable building out scalable processes
  • Experience tracking partnerships through a CRM
  • Excellence in proposing creative solutions to challenging problems
  • You’re excited by the possibility of pushing technology to find new ways of delivering financial services

Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in the FinTech industry or Financial Services
  • Experience scaling partnerships for a startup

We are remote-first across Canada with an office in Toronto. This role requires you to attend in-person meetings and team-building events.
