Senior Product Owner Therapy Management

This is an outstanding opportunity to join Fresenius Medical Care newly formed Digital Services and Solutions Group as a Product Owner (m/f/d). This role will be located in Bad Homburg or Berlin. In this role you will own the digital product, its digital journeys, and the user experience. You will collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.

Your assignments

• Partner closely with Product Management and UI/UX teams to translate market trends and feature-level requirements into actionable plans for agile teams
• Define clear technical objectives and solution scope in collaboration with the software development team(s)
• Take charge of prioritizing the product backlog and managing reporting, controlling, and requirements documentation (both functional and non-functional). Oversee all stages of product development process for medical and non-medical functionalities
• Drive an innovative digitalization strategy that aligns with other development streams at FMC
• Coordinate cross-functional product teams and orchestrates priorities
• Stay engaged at every stage of the process, monitoring and evaluating product progress to ensure we meet and exceed quality and performance expectations
• Contribute to developing a strong market positioning strategy for our products

Your profile

• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, (Business) Computer Science, Data Science or related engineering disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as product management, program management, or as a product owner
• Strong understanding of requirements engineering and agile software development processes/methodology (e.g. SCRUM)
• Demonstrated success in delivering digital solutions that address user-centric challenges
• Experience in clinic or hospital settings, or in digital health and innovation environments, is a plus
• Holding a Product Owner Certification is an advantage
• Enthusiastic and self-driven with a passion for learning and influencing positive outcomes
• Proficiency in English is a must have, German is a plus
