As a BIE, the resource will:
- Work with massive-scale data and provide analytic support to
Amazon stakeholders using the data.
- Build dashboards for business reporting,
- Deep dive bridges to understand the behavior of the metrics and
identify root causes of defects and develop business tools/solutions
to help business improve efficiency, productivity and save costs.
- Utilize deep expertise in business analysis, metrics, reporting, and
analytic tooling/languages like SQL, Excel, and others, to translate the
data into meaningful insights.
- Act as key point of contact working with program managers working
end-to-end from scoping the project, development, testing and
deployment. They can utilize the full breadth of tools available at
Amazon to build scalable, fully automated solutions.
- Communicate complex analytical results in a clear and easy-to-
understand way and will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to
difficult problems while considering edge cases and different
tradeoff.

Basic qualifications
1. 4+ years of experience working on SQL and ETL to pull data and build reports/dashboards.
2. Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced Excel skills.
3. Experience with data visualization using QuickSight, Tableau or PowerBI.
4. Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
5. Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-
scale, complex datasets.
6. Good understanding of data and ability to analyze/deep dive data to identify patterns/root
cause.
