We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP and WordPress Core, along with expertise in theme customisation, plugin development and front-end technologies.

As our WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaiingn custom WordPress websites from concept to deployment
• Creating, modifying and implementing WordPress themes, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance
• Developing custom plugins to extend WordPress functionality and meet specific client requirements
• Integrating third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites
• Optimising WordPress sites for speed, security, and SEO
• Customising existing WordPress themes to meet design specifications and client needs
• Implementing responsive designs ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers
• Developing child themes to extend functionality while maintaining core theme updates
• Evaluating, installing and configuring WordPress plugins to enhance site functionality
• Developing custom plugins when necessary to meet unique project requirements
• Troubleshooting and debugging plugin conflicts and issues
• Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design implementation
• Implementing caching solutions and content delivery networks (CDNs) to improve site speed
• Optimising database queries and PHP code for better performance
• Conducting regular performance audits and implement improvements
• Working closely with designers, project managers and other developers in a collaborative environment
• Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge with team members
• Communicating effectively with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Have 2-3 years of professional WordPress development experience, with strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Are experienced in WordPress theme customization, child themes and theme frameworks
• Are familiar with popular WordPress plugins and their integration (e.g., WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, Contact Form 7)
