Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00PM-10:30PM

The responsibilities of the Warehouse Specialist II encompass most warehousing activities. This includes receiving materials from suppliers, shipping orders to customers, maintaining receipt and shipment records using the company business system, and making necessary adjustments as authorized. The Warehouse Specialist II will evaluate transactions for correctness and rectify as necessary. This position requires use of material handling equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet productivity demands established by work function
  • Receive material from suppliers, validate packing sheets and contents against purchase orders and performs the required receiving steps in the company business system
  • Process all outgoing item shipments, ensuring items are packaged according to industry practice and company procedures so that they can be delivered without damage
  • Perform picking, packing and transacting of internal production orders
  • Maintain accurate company records via the company business system and enter corrections and adjustments as authorized by management
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate deliveries with carriers with help from others
  • Prepare and transact NPR shipments from customers
  • Prepare and transact rejected parts from contracted manufacturers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3-6 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping/receiving
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventories
  • Forklift/Material Handling equipment experience
  • Advanced experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with WMS/RF systems
  • Advanced computer data entry skills

  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks with strong attention to detail

Physical demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear
  • Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly required to handle or feel objects tools or controls
  • Frequently required to stand and work for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to twist and turn frequently while working
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment:

  • Office environment
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $22.00/hr to $25.00/hr, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
