Are you ready to shape the future of SimCorp by setting our path for learning?

Then become a Learning Owner and take the lead in creating great learning solutions for an area you are passionate about!

The Learning Areas provide us with a structure for effective individual and organizational learning. As a Learning Owner, you will provide the form and substance that shapes the Learning Area into a valuable strategic resource for growing our people individually, our expert communities, and ultimately our organizational capability.

Each Learning Area will consist of two to four Learning Owners who are jointly responsible for setting the Learning Area’s strategy, developing and refining an enterprise learning curriculum, and driving the creation of learning solutions that support SimCorp’s strategy.

As a Learning Owner, you’ll be backed by the Learning Sponsors, who will guide you in terms of the business and strategy objectives you need to connect with. You will also have practical support from the Learning- & Knowledge Management team, who can help with the design, planning, and execution of the learning offerings you define.

You are expected to spend on average 15-20 pct. of your time in the Learning Owner role. Since this will naturally impact your capacity to do other tasks, it is important that you consult your manager before applying.

You should also be aware that the effort needed will vary over time. Some weeks might be very light, with just a few meetings. At other times: When launching new courses, running design workshops, or hosting conferences, significant effort may be required.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the Learning Owner team, you will be responsible for creating the overall learning strategy for your Learning Area, including defining, developing, and refining an enterprise-level curriculum of learning offerings.
  • You will, supported by the Learning- & Knowledge Management team, drive the development of the learning offerings identified by your Learning Area from design to implementation.
  • You will be identifying, involving, and working with stakeholders and subject matter experts within your Learning Area, and supporting the development of Communities of Practice.
  • You will own the budget for development activities inside your Learning Area.
  • You will work closely with our Onboarding Program to ensure that content from your Learning Area aligns with and supports our onboarding efforts across the entire organization.
  • You will advise and act as a sparring partner for our line managers when it comes to linking the content of your Learning Area to specific learning needs.
  • You will communicate and provide transparency about what is happening in your Learning Area.
  • You will be an active participant in the Learning Forum, where knowledge is shared across all Learning Areas and best-practice policies are defined.

Profile

  • You are motivated by finding and creating the learning offerings, that help develop both our people and our organization.
  • You are interested in finding the intersection where learning meets business and organizational needs. Ultimately, the Learning Areas exist to serve the business. Finding the right way to do that requires listening to and taking guidance from various stakeholders in the organization.
  • You are passionately interested in the subject matter covered by the Learning Area you want to join. But you should not shy away from applying just because you are not the world’s leading expert on the subject. We expect you to bring a level of knowledge and insight about the subject matter to your work. But the Learning Areas are stronger when they are built on a foundation of diverse experience – be that as a recent graduate or someone with many years of hands-on experience.
  • You have a strong sense of what it means to work in a team and the skills and mindset needed to collaborate to achieve results.
  • You are interested in both using and sharpening your servant leadership, communication, and learning design skills.
  • You are interested in developing your own skillset as you grow into the role of being a SimCorp Learning Owner.

The role of Learning Owner is only available if you work in Product Development | R&D
