Specification Technologist - Graduate

Reporting to the Regulatory and Specifications Manager, the role is to become a subject matter expert on both internal and external product specifications, providing ownership of branded and international artwork approval and undertaking completion of internal and customer questionnaires where required.

• Completion of branded and international specifications, obtaining information from the wider business, and providing it to the customer in their defined format, on time.
• Ensuring Legal Compliance to back of pack declarations and communications.
• Undertake artwork checks, label creation and checks, ensuring compliance to all relevant legal expectations, along with pack copy specifications and escalate any amendments that may be required.
• Prioritise projects to deliver on time, as per the critical path.
• Establish, document, and maintain legal standards and expectations, supporting the business through any changes in legislation.
• Support the Regulatory and Specifications Manager with the completion of monthly Horizon Scanning.
• Provide detailed advice on ingredient usage and support the business when identifying new ingredients and processes.
• Review nutritional information and communicate finding to internal and external customers.
• Support the wider business with external legislation and government advice as necessary.
• Maintain internal specification management trackers.
