**Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-line Manufacturing Manager (level K) to support the Fabrication team based out of Auburn, Washington on 2nd shift.

A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This role will specifically support Integrated Aero Structures (IAS) and Advanced Metallic Structures (AMS).

As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Auburn, Washington.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, quality, and cost
  • 3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

Summary pay range: $115,900-$134,200
