Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with strong Java programming skills to play a pivotal role in our Research Service. This role will support the development of key applications that enable us to deliver our genomic healthcare service at scale!

This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities:

• Write efficient and scalable Java code following best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain back-end microservices using Java technologies.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of new features.
• Create and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure the reliability and high performance of our applications.
• Support testing efforts and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies into our projects.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Utilise collaborative development tools such as Git, Confluence, and Jira.
