The Job in a Nutshell💡

Hi all! We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Tax to lead and manage the tax practice across the various countries where Foodics operates, delivering quality tax services and providing strategic tax planning and advisory with the support of consultant agencies.

What you will do💡

• Prepare and review Zakat, and tax provisions and deferred tax calculation and disclosures in the financial statement.
• Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with the country laws and regulations within a timeframe.
• Coordinate with consultant agencies in each country Foodics operates in.
• Enhance the current processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Maintain tax balances on general ledger.
• Identify tax risks and present best practice to mitigate them.
• reflect all transactions.
• Provide Zakat advice and liaise with GAZT
• Provide advice on difficult tax issues to individuals.
• Reviewing the monthly Withholding Tax and VAT.
• Manage tax audits and information requests from tax authorities.
• Be updated with any changes that may occur in each country in their tax legislation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Keep records of filings, proof of payments, reconciliations related to zakat and tax matters, and correspondences with GAZT, GSTC.

What Are We Looking For❓

• A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, finance, taxation or any related fields.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience. The Big Four is a plus.
• Well aware of international tax and VAT laws.
• Solid knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
• CPA Certified is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Who Will Excel❓
