Technical Review Specialist

We are seeking an equally passionate Technical Review Specialist to conduct remote site inspections confirming PV installations are installed per our requirements and meets applicable Building and Electric Codes. The Technical Review Specialist will provide a technical analysis of Installation procedures and code compliance. They will also provide verification that submitted documents are complete and ready for Boarding. They will coordinate with Channel Operations to communicate issues or patterns of behavior that may affect the quality of assets and ensure that our homeowners and Partners receive excellent customer service and ensure a smooth workflow with optimal execution of processes.

While this position can be remote, we strongly prefer candidates located in one of our areas of operation: New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Philadelphia, PA; and the surrounding Northeast region (NJ, CT, MA, RI, NH).

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct Technical Analysis of Installations performed by Channel Partners to ensure it meets PosiGen’s requirements and Building and Electrical Codes.
• Communicate with internal teams and partners.
• Ensure Designs are in compliance with PosiGen Standards including pre approved equipment.
• Confirm and validate system production not limited to recreating designs for auditing.
• Ensure all proper pre installation requirements are met prior to approving milestones.
• Ensuring any incentive market additional documentation has been properly completed and uploaded.
• Confirm all required installation photos and documents are properly uploaded to CRM.
• Update project status using CRM to confirm projects meet requirements.
• Ensure completion of daily tasks fall within appropriate SLA.
• Build monitoring accounts in Inverter Platforms (SolarEdge and Enphase).
• Review and approve field changes and ensure necessary change requests are completed by the partner.
• Analyze failures and report data of quality infringements.
• Develop and participate in regular training on best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and chat spaces.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner including attendance, cooperation, and communication.
• Communicate needs to your direct supervisor.

Education/Experience

• High School or Trade School degree in a discipline related to construction or building sciences, engineering or architecture is preferred.
• At least three years experience in solar, preferable with Experience implementing quality control/quality assurance processes.
• Experience in a discipline related to construction or building sciences; photovoltaic installation experience is preferred.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Demonstrated success in fast pace, rapidly growing environment.
• Proficiency on a computer in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
