Main Role Function & Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the achievement of Facilities Management and project management consultancy revenue in the Middle east and for growing the business profitably. The services identified by the Business Development Manager will be delivered through the Middle East organisation using local capabilities in KSA.
  • Working with the management team in the pursuit and the production of world class bids, working closely with the Middle East delivery teams across varied market segment, to leverage our client relationships.
  • To ensure a strong seamless relationship with the broader Middle East business harnessing their resources, skills and experience where it is prudent and mutually beneficial to do so.
  • To generate new relationships and to grow AtkinsRéalis relationship with clients in the kingdom. To grow the pipeline of Facilities Management and project management opportunities and to work closely with the Middle East business to maximise the use of existing staff.

Experience and Skills:

  • Commercially focused, creative, confident, self-driven and inventive, able to originate commercial solutions, yet patient and tenacious as required.
  • Sensitive and appreciative of culture and challenges of working with clients in the Middle East, the candidate will have the ability to listen and communicate complex commercial solution confidently yet sensitively with customers and colleagues with equal skill.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • · Bid coordination and management
  • · Market and opportunity analysis support
  • · Preparation of presentation material
  • · Other general support to Senior Management

Desirable and must have

  • Knowledge of AtkinsRéalis an advantage
  • Arabic Speaker
  • Worked as a business Development Manager for at least 5 years in KSA
  • Previous Experience in Project Management / Facility Management / Real Estate or Construction industries is a must
  • High knowledge of the KSA market and its dynamics (Real Estate developments, competitors, potential clients etc…)
  • Presentable and professional
  • Pleasant personality
  • Experience of having participated in, or managed production of bids
  • Experience of having carried out market and opportunity analysis
  • Proven record in business development and closing deals
  • Bachelor’s degree is a must.

Objectives

  • Assist in development and demonstrate successful delivery of AtkinsRéalis Plan. Success will be measured against target set out in plan
  • Business Development: Develop consistent and co-ordinated approach to winning work:
  • Support key account management plans for key clients in KSA, supporting the country Executive to identify main stakeholders and intelligence on upcoming projects for each key account.
  • Identify several new potential Client over the next 12 months and introduce the company to the point that submissions are made for integrated Facilities and project management services to these new opportunities.
  • Over the next year raise the profiles of AtkinsRéalis within some Saudi projects where A) there is a visible pipeline of future work, and B) where AtkinsRéalis has no previous exposure, ensuring that AtkinsRéalis are correctly & formally pre-qualified to receive RFP’s as and when they are released
  • over the next 6 months follow up with AtkinsRéalis connections to ensure that relevant opportunities are coordinated and worked on.
