Job Description:

JBS Solutions is seeking a candidate to work in the Huntsville, AL area as a Microelectronics Analyst to assist in executing programs associated with laboratory measurements of foreign missile system microelectronic components. Projects and activities include foreign materiel exploitation, laboratory testing of threat systems components, data extraction from system components, X-ray characterization and analysis of system components, automated data acquisition with laboratory instruments and data acquisition systems, data reduction and analysis, and laboratory design, development and operation. Candidate will assist in the setup, calibration, documentation, and verification of the proper operation of a wide range of complicated and/or specialized microelectronic component test setups. Candidate will participate in the use of chemical and mechanical etching systems, visible and near-infrared (NIR) microscopes, and computed tomography (CT) X-ray systems.

Required Education & Experience:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (with classes in digital system design and microcontrollers architecture and design) or other related scientific field or equivalent of 5 years’ experience required.

• Experience in the use of and software design for microcontrollers, field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and complex programmable logic devices (CPLDs) is required.

• Experience in the use of commercial development boards and programming interfaces for microcontrollers, FPGAs, and CPLDs is required.

• Experience in the use of industry standard digital programming interfaces such as JTAG and SPI is required.

• Familiarization with CT X-ray and X-ray analysis is required.

Contingencies:

• Must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance and pass a counter-intelligence polygraph within 2 years of hire date.

• Candidate must be willing to travel (10%).

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Ability to configure computers and computer networks and communications equipment and networks to facilitate data collection, storage and dissemination.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office products.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment.

• Able to work independently and efficiently with deadlines.

• Strong written and oral communication skills. Must be able to clearly articulate and communicate via email and phone calls.
