Product Manager/Senior Product Manager

Guidewire is widely recognized as the leading provider of software solutions for the property and casualty insurance industry. Our software offers P&C insurance companies the tools to look after their customers when they need it the most, whether that’s a time of crisis, a natural disaster, an accident, or exposure to cyber risks.

We are looking for a product manager to join our team and help us to design and deliver solutions that leverage AI to reimagine the user experience across the lifecycle of insurance. You will work with a global product team spanning P&C insurance domain specialists, UX design and engineering to define and deliver the new experience, from conceptualization through successful adoption by Guidewire customers.

Building on Guidewire’s success in the core systems market, we are looking to leverage AI and the power of the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) to deliver a reimagined experience for internal users within P&C insurers. This will include full-stack capabilities, focused on defining experiences that leverage AI and data to automate and augment every decision across the P&C insurance lifecycle.

This position is based in Krakow, Poland and candidates are expected to be able to be in the office each 3 days/week to support a hybrid work schedule. In addition, ability to travel 10-15% as and when necessary is required.

• Work with our global teams to define and implement an AI driven claims handling experience.
• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to design, build, launch, and iterate on products that are grounded in deep understanding of customer needs.
• Define and measure adoption and business impact of market-leading product in the claims handling space.
• Make tough prioritization decisions and maintain a balance between both the product roadmap and the need to hit a high-quality bar.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in product management at a commercial enterprise software company serving the B2B market. Insurance background is a plus.
• Experience driving a discovery process including capturing data, analysis, forming a hypothesis, and testing.
• Experience working on a distributed team, and ensuring close communication and alignment.
• Experience and knowledge in cloud technology concepts including workflows, tools, and architecture is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge working with Machine Learning and Analytics, including Generative AI is a plus.
• Experience in InsurTech, FinTech, and/or P&C domain knowledge is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical major; Masters preferred but not required.
