Associate Creative Director

ACD COPYWRITERS & ART DIRECTORS: WANT COOLER PROBLEMS TO SOLVE?

Edelman Toronto is looking for an ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR for both COPYWRITER and ART DIRECTOR positions with stellar portfolios looking to do the best, most impactful work of their career alongside our killer creative department overseen by CCO Anthony Chelvanathan and Global CCO Judy John. We’re on a mission to better the world, one brief and client at a time through innovative and culture-driving thinking. And we need passionate, brave, eager, concept-first creatives with a Mamba Mentality to make it happen.

Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with other creative team members to concept and plan execution of earned-centric campaigns and programs across a wide range of media and platforms, especially social, digital, video, experiences and content
• Collaborate with a wide range of specialties including account, strategy, project management, and influencer
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously; managing and providing direction to other team members as needed
• Work closely with a project manager and production partners to schedule projects and coordinate production
• Be a creative leader to our clients and staff

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in advertising, graphic design, or anything creatively conceptual
• Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail and handling them with a team oriented, entrepreneurial spirit
• Interest in leading/maintaining client relationships
• Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates strong layout and composition with a keen eye for typography and motion
• A professional-level mastery of industry standard design software and tools including the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Production experience in art direction and design for video, digital and social platforms
