Position Summary:
The Cybersecurity Center at MSU Denver is seeking an Associate Director of Training and Operations. A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate real-world cybersecurity experience in software engineering specific to Security Operations Centers (SOC), the management of those day-to-day activities including monitoring, analysis, investigation, escalation, and Incident Response (IR).
Reporting to the Director of The Cybersecurity Center, candidates should be able to work with external customers, both private and public sector as well as vendors, in line with the Director's intent. The role will require flexibility and on occasions, the need to work outside of core working hours being defined as Monday to Friday from 8am – 5pm. Candidates will also be required to form part of an innovation team charged with the development of innovative software approaches specific to cybersecurity and will therefore need to be able to demonstrate some experience in this field for development and project management.
