Senior B2B Functional Analyst

Job Description:

As a Senior B2B Functional Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to challenging projects both technically and functionally. These projects are critical for the continuity and performance of our client's core business activities. You will work on projects related to the consolidation and distribution of information concerning railway traffic management (pre-processing, real-time, post-processing, back-office) to B2B stakeholders, specifically:

External to theorganization:

• Railway companies operating on or transiting through our network.
• Foreign infrastructure managers.
• European platforms for railway information consolidation.

Internal to theorganization:

• Real-time visualization of schedule changes for our signaling staff.
• Calculation of charges and billing for the use of our network by our clients.
• Calculation of electricity consumption related to our activities.
• Feeding expert systems like BigData.

You will be involved in both new developments and the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications. Requirements

Technical Skills:

• (M) Mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business and functional analysis of IT projects within an Agile/SCRUM methodology.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and French.
  • Ability to develop user stories based on analysis and specifications.
  • Ability to develop test cases and scenarios in cooperation with business, development, and test teams.
  • Experience in root cause analysis of defects, incidents, and problems during development and in production environments.
  • Knowledge of design and modeling techniques (UML).
  • Understanding of key service technologies (ESB, SOA).
  • Ability to read and write XML and XSD files fluently.
  • Ability to gather business requirements using various methods.
  • Experience in writing functional and technical documents: work instructions, user guides.
  • Ability to conduct impact analysis based on operational needs.
  • Attention to non-functional requirements.
  • Experience in project management (ITIL, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge in development (OO, .NET, Desktop & Web design, MVC, SQL) to communicate effectively with technical profiles.

Professional experience with the required technologies is essential.
