The Accounts Payable Clerk handles a variety of financial tasks, and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel's accounting department according to the company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process electronic payments and transfers according to company policies
- Assist in month-end closing & preparations of tax schedules (VAT input, WHT, etc)
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Reconcile vendor statements Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable.
- Performing any other related duties (Ad-hoc work) and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in related field at least 1 year
- Strong data entry skill
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Competence in financial and bookkeeping software is necessary
- Knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency in English.
