Job Description:
We are looking for The Global Value Stream Manager within the Valves Operations & Engineering (PV) organization to be responsible for the continuous work with our value streams. We are now on a journey of continuous improvement, finding new ways of working to meet the market demands. Our target is to have very well-defined processes for each department, systematic ways to work with continuous improvement as well as proven productivity increases along the way.
Your responsibilities
- Drive continuous work with value streams within the PV organization.
- Be part of establishing and later driving an improvement project on PV level, with focus on our value streams and work towards productivity increase.
- Work closely together with the different process and CI leaders on understanding the value streams of each department and to drive the implementation of each project.
- Make sure we consider a global approach for our processes, applicable for all factory locations.
- Own and maintain the value stream map created at PV
- Work closely together with the main planner of valves to ensure that our new ways of working is also reflected in our time schedules.
- Make sure health and safety is our number one priority where we can show that we are the best in class on safety by design activities.
- Have sustainability on the agenda and be a leader on always targeting sustainability improvements when working on our value streams.
Your background
- You are a structured, well organized person aware of the concepts of Value Stream Mapping and Theory of Constraints etc.
- Experienced in change management and leading through change.
- As a leader you are communicative and help your team to translate visions and strategies into meaningful work
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered as a plus
- You have a bachelor or master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent work experience
