Junior Database Engineer

The Role

TuneIn, a leading provider of audio streaming services, is seeking an experienced Junior Database Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. The Platform Engineering team is integral to managing our production tools, including AWS, CloudFlare, and GitHub self-hosted runners. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining OLTP database systems, ensuring optimal database performance through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.

Join our dynamic team at TuneIn and play a crucial role in developing and implementing database policies and procedures to maintain database integrity and availability. You will collaborate closely with platform engineers, infrastructure engineers, and other IT staff to meet business requirements, and provide on-call support for critical database issues and performance bottlenecks.
