DuPont Water Solutions (DWS) is a $1.4 B water technology leader, focused on solving global challenges in water purification, conservation, and reuse. DWS serves its thousands of customers in diverse markets using multiple technologies from its portfolio across major geographies of the world.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Water Reuse Specialist to join our Technical Service and Development Team in EMEA.

The primary focus of this role is to provide technical service and support in the design, implementation, and optimization of wastewater processes and technologies for municipal and industrial water reuse, working closely with customers, collaborators, commercial and marketing teams and other functions to develop customized solutions that meet specific water treatment needs.

The target region is whole Europe with a focus on southern and eastern European countries.

Your key responsibilities:

• Become a subject matter expert on water reuse application to position DWS’s products, providing technical guidance and consultation to internal teams (commercial) and external clients to ensure efficient and effective system designs, adequate operation and offer guidance during troubleshooting and resolution of operational issues.
• Present technical proposals and solutions and/or alternative to customers and address their queries and concerns, managing opportunities at any stage on technical level by using appropriate tools.
• Develop jointly with commercial and marketing engagement programs (action plans) for priority markets to increase business visibility and positioning as technology partner.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their water treatment requirements and develop customized solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analyze water quality data, and recommend appropriate technology, equipment, and operating conditions to achieve desired treatment outcomes.
• Provide training and technical support to customers, operators, and field service personnel on the systems operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and water reuse handling.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and workshops and customer seminars as needed.
• Together with commercial and marketing organizations, explores and defines new markets / applications for existing products based on market feedback, regional needs and regulatory drivers. Provide feedback to strategic marketing, commercial and R&D for product improvement and development opportunities.
• Compile and updates product documentation material like case histories and customer success cases.
• Gives technical presentations and talks on conferences, exhibition, and customer seminars.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred (but not mandatory).
• Languages: English: highly proficient in both spoken and written + local language skills.
• 10 years of experience in technical functions, such as Technical Sales, Technical Service or Project Management in water treatment.
• Relevant technical experience with UF & RO Technologies. Understanding of water technologies (i.e: UF, RO/NF, biological and others) theory, and its practical application in water and water reuse space.
• Familiarity with water quality parameters, such as pH, conductivity, TDS, hardness, alkalinity, and contaminants commonly found in various water sources.
• Readiness to attend business trips, up to 25% of the time.
• Customer centric attitude and capability to build up customer relationship and trust. Important to have an attitude to identify and solve problems at customers systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong in digital technology and data analysis.
• Good interpersonal skills and capability to work in a multinational environment.
