Field Service Engineer

Your tasks

In your role you will:

• Perform commissioning activities at customer site on Filler and Thermal Process equipment
• Handle communication with customer and provide proper written reporting to Project Manager
• Take care of installation, supervision, commissioning and training activities
• Assist production trials and conduct performance tests to get the Performance Take Over Certificate
• Perform after sales service activities: retrofit, preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment at customer premises
• Execute troubleshooting, adjustments and mechanical/electrical fixing
• Elaborate detailed service reports, equipment serviced, and parts used which supports the invoicing process to our customers
• Provide support to the customers from Alfa Laval premises, also by phone and remote assistance using technical and procedural troubleshooting techniques
• Register customer claims internally, taking care of internal follow up to speed up and solve the issues.

Competence and Experiences

• 3-5 years of experience as a Field service engineer in Food and Beverage industry, with knowledge about Fillers and Thermal processing equipment,
• Proven track record of delivering machine commissioning, performance tests, mechanical service maintenance, troubleshooting (electrical, pnaumatic and mechanical),
• Basic experience in PLC’s or Processor’s work to troubleshoot electrical/controls issues on equipment (Siemens TIA Portal, Step7, Rockwell RS Logix 5000),
• Proficent English level,
• Good knowledge of Microsoft ® Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Be available to travel worldwide (180/200 days per year).
