YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES :
- Develop, implement and support ETL data flows to extract, transform and load data from various data sources into the Databricks Lakehouse;
- Support all aspects of the project lifecycle, including: design, testing, deployment, documentation and post-implementation support;
- Develop and implement controls to monitor the execution of data flows and provide visibility on data quality.
- Measure and continuously improve the use, performance and costs of our data platform;
- Contribute to building and sustaining the VOSKER data community through various meetings, activities and content creation;
- Provide creative solutions to the challenges you encounter!
Requirements
THE EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO TAKE US FURTHER:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Minimum 2 years' experience with Databricks
- Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Good knowledge of data engineering practices and concepts related to data warehousing and modeling
- Minimum 3 years' experience with SQL, Spark and Python/Scala/Java
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using a framework such as Terraform (an asset)
