Join our dynamic team at Axpo as an Energy Data Analysis Intern. Over a six-month period, you'll immerse yourself in our energy data management tools, gaining a comprehensive understanding of energy contracts and modeling requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to rotate through our service desk, addressing issues related to data quality and application performance. What you will do:

• Engage with energy data management tools.
• Understand and model energy contracts and requirements within our system.
• Learn key energy concepts such as BRP, supplier PPAs, full supply, energy hedge, and nomination.
• Gain exposure to energy markets across Europe, from the UK to Turkey.
• Resolve incidents related to incorrect setups, data quality issues, and application performance raised by the back office (invoicing) and middle office.
• Utilize SQL and Python for analyzing and resolving issues.
• Assist in maintaining and improving data quality within the system.

What you bring & who you are:

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Interest in the energy sector and willingness to learn about energy markets and concepts.
• Fluency in English
