About the opportunity
We are in a period of exciting and significant investment in our Faculty of Medicine and Health and in order to deliver on the University’s ambitious strategic plan, we are looking for a Lecturer, Aboriginal Health to join The University of Sydney, Sydney Medical School based at the Rural Clinical School in Dubbo.

As the Lecturer – Aboriginal Health :
You will contribute to the teaching and learning efforts within the Rural Clinical School – Dubbo, while working with the support and guidance of more senior academic staff to develop your research profile and education proficiency. You will work within a team to deliver programs and teaching to medical and allied health students attending the University Centre for Rural Health campus in Dubbo, which is designed to engage and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to move into the health workforce.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. For a continuing position, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.

Similarly, your ongoing employment is conditional upon the satisfactory maintenance of all relevant clearances and background check requirements.
