Tasks and Qualifications:

What will you need to do as Process Manager Project Accounting?

  • Work with internal stakeholders and other business areas to ensure optimal process coordination in the project,
  • Develop and deliver consistent and unified financial and controlling processes in Business Transformation (BTO) initiative in line with business strategy,
  • Support the process owners in defining the process model, guarantee robust documentation and work closely with the process managers of the business units,
  • With focus on Project Accounting and Project Cost Controlling , ensure that the control model is optimally supported by the correct accounting of the controlling objects in the profitability analysis in SAP S/4 HANA and that the integrative value flows of logistical processes fit in accordingly,
  • Drive the redefinition and implementation of process changes in related business transformation initiatives and projects and ensure these changes contribute to operational processes,
  • Provide knowledge transfer and ensure the functionality of the transferred process in your area of ​​responsibility,
  • Being responsible for system-side control, monitoring and participation in the month-end closing process via SAP / Smart Close,
  • Support the local finance department and act as point of contact regarding cost controlling area.

What will you need to succeed in the role?

Must have:

  • Professional experience in area of Project Accounting (preferably General Ledger) or Finance Planning & Analysis / Management Accounting,
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, preferably IFRS 15,
  • Ideally, graduated in Business / Finance with focus on Accounting, professional certification in Accounting, or comparable qualification,
  • Have experience in group reporting, as well as general accounting,
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player

Nice to have:

  • Professional experience in ​​SAP FI/CO and the core processes of the finance or controlling area of ​​a manufacturing company
  • Ideally, have additional knowledge of other SAP modules; initial experience in S/4 HANA is preferred
  • Openness to travels
