The Role:

As a Principal Software Engineer at Third Bridge, you will lead by example in the design and development of high-availability, enterprise-level applications. This role requires a strategic thinker proficient in the latest cloud technologies and software practices, who can architect solutions and mentor other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and architecture of robust solutions, maintaining an overview of the 'bigger picture' to meet business and client needs.
• Actively write code and conduct code reviews, upholding the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
• Implement Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance innovation and efficiency across software development teams.
• Mentor and support other engineers, fostering an environment of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that address specific business challenges.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of software practices and architecture within the company.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Preferred Over 10 years of experience in software engineering with a significant focus on leadership in technical domains.
• Expertise in Typescript, React.js, Node.js, and extensive experience with cloud deployment environments, particularly AWS.
• Strong foundation in service-oriented architectures, web services, object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, the SOLID framework, data structures, algorithms, asynchronous frameworks, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in developing microservices architecture, AWS Lambda functions, serverless applications, and managing large datasets within high-availability enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, with a solid understanding of DevOps practices.
