Core Ops Lead Analyst

As a Core Ops Lead Analyst you will play a key role in shaping and leading the day-to-day production and deliverables of the Business Optimization & Solutions – Eagle Application Team (BOS-EAT). BOS-EAT serves as the centralized business super user group for CSTAR (“Capital Straight Through Accounting and Reporting”), which is Capital’s accounting system for our retail & institutional books of business. The team is responsible for working with Core Operations business users & IT to provide production support for CSTAR. Additionally, the team drives the technology roadmap in partnership with the CSTAR IT team.

You possess the experience, judgement, and business knowledge in both systems and accounting to analyze and implement solutions for the most complex and/or ambiguous challenges. This includes leveraging broad knowledge of CSTAR and Core Operations accounting procedures to provide guidance and support for ad-hoc operational issues, technical questions for system defect and/or solutions, and helping lead strategic systematic solutions for enhancements to support new business products and initiatives. This also includes an in-depth understanding of the Capital System investment process, the securities and investment business.

· You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a relevant field of study.

· You have at least two years of accounting experience, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· You have an enthusiasm and aptitude for understanding technology and are able to comfortably navigate systems and technology.

· You have CSTAR (or EagleSTAR) experience at any level (preferred)

· You demonstrate innovative thinking and leverage resources/relationships to navigate complex, ambiguous, and challenging situations across multiple CG groups and external vendors.

· You are exceptionally well organized and have experience driving fast-paced work that includes broad internal and external stakeholders.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $103,977-$166,363

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
