BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Fixed assets and Treasury at our SLP PDS Plant in Mexico.

In this role, and under direct supervision of the Accountant Supervisor will be primarily responsible for maintaining, controlling, verifying billing records and balances receivable from the company's clients.

POSITION SUMMARY Manage and control the company's Fixed Assets and Treasury operations, aiming to ensure the correct administration and registration of operations in accordance with the policies and processes established in the company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Fixed Assets:

• Record additions, dispositions, withdrawals and depreciation of fixed assets in a timely manner. • Maintenance of the fixed assets module. • Month closing and reporting of fixed assets. • Capex, Opex control. • Preparation of the forecast of fixed assets and Capex. • Monthly reconciliations of Capex and fixed assets. • Coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts and investigate differences between located fixed assets and those on the books. • Keep track of the physical documentation of fixed assets. • Follow-up on billing of reimbursable tooling • Compliance with tax and corporate regulations.

Treasury:

• Issuance of checks. • Remittance transfers to other banks, suppliers and all those related to payments to personnel. • Preparation of periodic cash flows. • Management of fixed cash fund and responsibility for others granted in the company. • Bank reconciliations. • Adequate control, management and issuance of checks, bank transfers and financial information and timely issuance of cash flow, to comply with the company's obligations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Public Accountant or Bachelor's Degree in Financial Administration, CPA OR CMA. Length of experience in a similar position: More than 5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting & Treasury, proven work experience as an analyst and/or accountant in the aforementioned areas. Required Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, proven ability to calculate, record and manage financial records. Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP English Required: Conversational/Business
