Patient Access Representative will coordinate or manage inpatient and outpatient admissions. This is a Part Time position located at CMH- Ventura, CA.

• What You Will Do:

• Provide efficient, timely, courteous registration services to ensure a high level of customer service.

• Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while performing the tasks of pre- admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors.

• The primary responsibility is to assist patients and their families in accessing services acting as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff.

• This position is located at CMHS- Main Admitting Day Shift - Varied - Start Times 4:30 AM, 8:30 AM or 10 AM PST

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• One (1) year Patient Access experience
• One (1) year Customer Service experience
• Data Entry experience
• Familiarities to Health Plans/Insurances
