QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Therapieland, you are vital to maintaining and enhancing the quality of digital mental healthcare solutions, with a key role in ensuring our SaaS platform and its products meet the highest standards for end-users and healthcare professionals. In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you define and implement comprehensive testing strategies to support the execution of innovative solutions that improve patient care. Your role as a guardian of product quality is integral to Therapieland's mission of delivering effective, reliable, and user-friendly digital mental health services, ensuring each feature aligns with the stringent expectations of the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer at our digital mental healthcare platform, your core responsibilities include developing and maintaining a comprehensive test strategy that aligns with our product goals and timelines. You will lead in setting quality standards, planning testing phases, and coordinating with the product team to ensure our quality assurance roadmap matches our product development. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and project managers, you'll identify risks, understand testing requirements, and ensure QA perspectives are integral in project planning. Your oversight of the testing process involves working with engineering teams to address challenges and defects, implementing quality gates, and ensuring high-quality feature delivery.

Additionally, you'll manage quality-related communications, monitor key quality metrics, and lead continuous improvement efforts in our QA processes. You are expected to stay abreast of industry best practices in QA, and integrate these insights into our operations. Moreover, you're tasked with leading the training and onboarding of new QA processes, tools, and workflows to maintain high standards of product quality across the team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree. A master's degree as a plus.
• QA Experience: Proven experience in test automation, API testing and (manual) end-to-end testing, preferably in healthcare. ISTQB is a plus.
• Automation: Ability to identify areas of automation opportunity and setup and maintain test automation for quality continuity.
• Test methodologies: experience or willing to learn on various testing methodologies such as regression, stress, performance and exploratory testing on multiple application layers (API, interface etc.).
• IT and Workflow Knowledge: Familiarity with IT systems, data exchange, testing tools such as Cypress, Cucumber, Postman and good understanding of data models and BPM like workflows.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication and Collaboration: Effective verbal and written communication and collaboration skills (English required).
• Agile Experience: Experience in Agile development and methodologies.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare regulatory, privacy, and security requirements.
