Data Site Reliability Engineer

Snowflake platform experience is essential. This is a hybrid role where you’ll work alongside your colleagues in the office at least 2 times per week.

How you’ll change it up

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the availability, reliability and performance of our data infrastructure and data platforms. This will include the support and maintenance of data systems, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting data-related issues. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:

• Monitoring the performance of data systems, databases, and data pipelines to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Responding to and resolving data-related incidents and outages to minimize downtime
• Developing and maintaining automation tools and scripts to streamline data operations
• Maintaining documentation for data infrastructure, configuration, and processes

What you’ll bring to the role

Using your previous experience from a similar role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on large data engineering projects and develop extensive knowledge in framework, helping us to solve complex issues and standardise operational procedures. You’ll bring the following with you:

• Snowflake
• Strong expertise in data infrastructure technologies, data pipelines, databases, data lakes and data processing frameworks
• Experience working with complex data integration projects
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
